The exhibition will officially open on Wednesday 21 October at 6:30 pm with a special Opening Night event

This year’s Showcase will be held at the Doncaster and Templestowe Artist's Society, located at 673 Doncaster Road, Doncaster.

• 22 October: Closed

• 23 October: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

• 24 October: Closed

• 25–28 October: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

• 29 October: Closed

• 30 October: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

FAQ Information

You must drop your artwork off during the following times:

Monday-Thursday 10-4pm

Between September 28th - October 1st and October 5th - October 8th

When you come we will:

• Review your work

• Ensure it is ready to hang (framed, D rings and wire if required)

• Help you price your work
  

Please provide your bank details so we can arrange payment for any sold works. This year, only a 10% commision will be collected from the sale of art works. This is to help cover showcase costs.

Pick-up of unsold work: 17th - 19th November 2026, Tue-Fri 10-4pm

Artwork will not be stored, please contact us if you need to organise an alternative time to pick-up your artwork.

Your artwork will be displayed in a public space and every effort will be made to take care of it. However, some things are our of our control. By signing this form, you accept the risk that your artwork may be damaged, lost or stolen and that Sparrow Collective will not be held liable. 

If you are not currently a Sparrow Collective participant, we require you to have a one-off 2 hour support work session with one of our artists. This will come out of your NDIS plan. In this session, you and the artist will have the opportunity to discuss your creative goals and ambitions, discover other artists who work in a similar medium/style to you and find some inspiration. Importantly, you will also be assisted to correctly prepare your work for the exhibition, including framing, D rings, wire etc.

We will contact you to discuss your idea. Please note, not all applicants will be successful due to time constraints. 

We will accept works up to aproximately 1 meter by 1 meter squared.

Not all works will be accepted due to space and curation descretion. 

The Sparrow Showcase is a public event. This is an opportunity for your artwork and you as an artist to be profiled, therefore we will have a photographer and videographer capturing this showcase. Your work, name and image are likely to appear in these images and recordings.

The participant gives their consent for their image and/or creative work and audio recordings (photo, video or audio recording) for use in media publications including social media, email campaigns, websites, digital and print material, broadcasts, including commercial and theatrical and video platforms. The Participant gives Sparrow Collective permission to take photographs and make recordings (video and/or audio) of me for the purposes outlined above. The participant gives consent to Sparrow Collective to reproduce and use these images and recordings in any media format mentioned above. I acknowledge that Sparrow Collective owns all rights to the images and recordings and any intellectual property developed in relation to the images and recordings. The participant waives the right to any royalties or other compensation or remuneration arising from or related to the use of my image or recordings. The participant releases Sparrow Collective from any claims, damages and liability arising from or relating to the use of my image or recordings.
